It looks like the fin and rear light design did in a way make it to the Capri/Premiere/Continental line like you have, so it didn’t completely just disappear.

If only the future of automotive design had this much visibility.

It’s the lack of having glass that can be turned mirror reflective with a button. Otherwise awesome bubble cars are basically solar ovens.

What is the mystery warning light? The world may never know. Also, having no fuel gauge is hilarious.

I was thinking more horizontally, y’know.

The front “eyebrow” design made it onto the Capri as well: very subtle but it is noticeably there.

Oh, I know, but even semi-vertical glass isn’t optimal for staying out in the sun. I also know that beltlines are mostly about crash protection - I was being facetious.

No fuel gauge is bad but having the gauge in the middle of the steering wheel is a stroke of genius I think.

It’s probably a good idea to have the shifting not on the column. Otherwise the column would have to be a tube (speedo cable, etc.) through a tube (steering shaft) through another tube (shifter), through an outside tube for additional wiring. I bet it’s already kind of a nightmare on the steering box end.

Hey not to put any pressure on you but I have had another inquiry about the Lincoln. He was wanting to see it this weekend as well but I told him you had first dibs. I think you are more serious buyer but I was wondering if you would actually be able to make it on Friday or Saturday? If not I might show it to him.

Making decision... okay done. Unless something drastically changes, yes.

Awesome. Is it bad I kind of miss the days of old nostalgic loading bars?

I miss all of them shorter than about 2 minutes long. Past that point, they can DIAF.

On a closer look... it´s the speedo!

Really looks like a compass.

The speedo in on the steering wheel? Why two speedos?
